LAME A330 (Minimum 2 Years Experience)

Casual position available in ADELAIDE. AVCRO is an Australian founded and based Aircraft services company headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and accountability to AVCRO's Operations Manager;

• Ensure comprehensive reporting is available to the business and its Customers for all maintenance related activities relating to Line operations; • Contractor management: Ensuring that all maintenance personnel understand and are in compliance with AVCRO's expectations, procedures and upholding our values in line with Customers expectations; • Customer relationship management: Ensuring required information is documented and communicated effectively and professionally to the Customer liaison and CAMO delegates; • As a Certifying Employee, you will drive best practice planning: Incorporating downtime, required resources, expenditure and efficient work detail to ensure optimal workflow in consultations with AVCRO's Line, Base and Component Responsible Managers; • Provide genuine leadership, guidance and mentoring to AME’s and other Certifying Staff as required; and • Lead by example, by promoting a reporting culture with relevant follow up and stakeholder input.

  • Experience/Qualifications:
  • • Demonstrated experience in a similar Line Maintenance environment;

• The ability to lead by example, as well as consistently motivate and drive your team to successful outcomes; • Strong at delegating tasks to the correct people as per hierarchy tree and ensuring you and your team take ownership of tasks through to completion;

• Commercial awareness and respect for cost control and resource allocation;

• Strong communication skills, and the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholder groups; and • Strong computer skills & literacy.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

The successful candidate for the LAME position, must meet specific requirements to ensure a safe and secure work environment. This includes the ability to pass an initial Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) test and maintain compliance with ongoing physical DAMP screening; Adherence to the DAMP policy, which mandates a negative reading for both drugs and alcohol at all times while on shift; and In addition, the candidate must be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which includes a Police Check, to ensure their suitability for working in a secure aviation setting.
