The Opportunity

ACESGroup is seeking casual Cargo Screeners for aviation facilities in Brisbane, with the possibility of a full-time role in future, ensuring the safety and security of cargo goods flowing through its facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform security screenings of freight consignments using screening equipment
Follow protocols to ensure compliance with transportation security regulations
Identify and respond to potential threats, prohibited weapons and suspicious behaviours
Document and report security incidents to appropriate authorities
Perform gatehouse and related security taskings

Essential Requirements

Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Air Cargo Examination Officer, or ability to obtain)
QLD Security Licence
Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or ability to obtain
Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate or ability to obtain
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
