About the Role
An Airside Ground Crew member is sought at Brisbane Airport, part of the frontline team ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations, handling bagroom operations, loading and unloading, aircraft receipt and dispatch, and pushback operations.
Key Duties
- Perform bagroom functions, including scanning and manual handling of luggage
- Load and unload baggage and freight efficiently
- Manage aircraft receipt and dispatch procedures; execute pushback operations safely
- Provide essential water and waste services; operate ground service equipment on the ramp
Essential Requirements
- High proficiency in spoken and written English; valid driver's licence
- Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests, and obtain an ASIC card
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Commitment to a minimum of 40+ hours per fortnight
