The Opportunity
ACESGroup is seeking an experienced casual Aviation Screening Officer to join the team in Rockhampton, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of services flowing through aviation facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform security screenings using screening equipment
- Follow protocols to ensure compliance with transportation security regulations
- Identify and respond to potential threats, prohibited weapons and suspicious behaviours
- Document and report security incidents to appropriate authorities
- Perform gatehouse and other security-related taskings
Essential Requirements
- Certificate II Transport Security Protection
- QLD Security Licence
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or ability to obtain
- Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate or ability to obtain
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
