The Opportunity
WINKEL is recruiting for Customer Service / Check-in Agents and Baggage Handling & Ramp Operations Agents (both casual) at Rockhampton Airport. No prior aviation experience required.
Customer Service / Check-in Agent Responsibilities
- Passenger check-in and boarding
- Delivering exceptional customer service and assisting passengers with special requirements
- Processing baggage and travel documentation
- Coordinating aircraft arrivals and departures
Baggage Handling & Ramp Operations Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading aircraft baggage and freight
- Marshalling aircraft onto parking bays
- Operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including aircraft stairs and tugs
- Cabin cleaning for terminating aircraft; assisting with safe aircraft turnarounds
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Eligibility to obtain an ASIC
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
- Flexibility to work a rotating seven-day roster including weekends and public holidays
- Ramp roles: physical ability to repetitively lift up to 32kg and work outdoors
- Customer service roles: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
