About the Role
Thanks to continued growth, APA has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Aviation Engine Mechanic to join its RRM250 team in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, QLD, performing and certifying maintenance tasks on RRM250 engines under the direct supervision of an experienced Supervisor. Relocation assistance is available to help you make Brisbane your new home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all work in accordance with the APA Quality Management System
- Conduct deeper level maintenance on engines and components per approved documentation
- Ensure work practices comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
- Conduct Foreign Object searches and Tool Control requirements at appropriate job stages
- Maintain personal tools/equipment in a serviceable condition
- Raise, complete and certify APA documentation in accordance with approved data and applicable airworthiness regulations
- Assist in the final packaging and release of aviation products
Essential Requirements
- Trade Certificate (Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent)
- A strong understanding of the regulatory aspects of airworthiness authorities
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in RRM250 engine maintenance
Desirable
- Experience with RRM250 engines and overhaul experience
- Proven ability to work autonomously and in team settings
- Experience in engine testing, cleaning and inspection
