About the Role
The Flight Data Coordinator (FDC) team manages information delivered to domestic computer systems and international Air Navigation Service Providers. This role processes operational air traffic information entering and leaving the Brisbane Air Traffic Services Centre that is not automatically processed by the Eurocat Air Traffic Management system, operating within a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of live operational information within the National Airspace System and other international air traffic systems
- Process operational air traffic information not automatically handled by the Eurocat ATM system
- Report to a Service Lead with operational reporting to the duty Systems Supervisor
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience analysing information and implementing practical solutions in a complex operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with critical information across multiple systems
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to assess priorities and make timely decisions in a live operational environment
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; ASIC required
Desirable
- Previous experience within aviation, air traffic management, defence, emergency services or other safety-critical environments
