Aircraft Maintenance Planning Supervisor – Perth
The Role
Airnorth are recruiting for an Aircraft Maintenance Planning Supervisor to join the Continuing Airworthiness Management team in Perth.
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will lead the Maintenance Planning function within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
You will oversee the Airline’s aircraft maintenance planning, ensuring efficient team activity and focused coordination with internal teams and external MROs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Airline’s Aircraft Maintenance Planning Function: Optimize aircraft maintenance activity to deliver scheduled plans for the entire Airnorth fleet.
- Liaison: Negotiate timing and task content with internal AMO and external MRO providers, ensuring all tasks are optimised.
- Reporting: Deliver timely communications regarding issues affecting maintenance and aircraft availability.
- Leadership: Provide focused leadership to CAMO planning staff. Engaging actively with the broader Airnorth leadership team and external MRO management.
- Compliance and Documentation: Prepare and approve work packs, non-routine work cards to ensure all scheduled maintenance meets the fleet approved maintenance Program.
- Support: Provide active support to the broader organisation to minimise operational disruptions and avoidable costs relating to aircraft un-availability.
- Efficiency: Ensure all aircraft maintenance is carried out efficiently to achieve optimum aircraft availability whilst supporting fully compliant operations.
Selection Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Aircraft Maintenance Planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CASR Part 42 and the Part 42 Manual of Standards (MOS).
- Software Proficiency: Strong computer literacy and experience with MS Office suite. Detailed experience with maintenance management software such as AMOS, Envision, IAS, TRAX, or Winair.
- Planning Expertise: In depth understanding of Approved Maintenance Programs (AMP) and forecasting principals.
- Communication: High-level interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes.
- Security: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an ASIC.
- Roster: Lifestyle-friendly Monday to Friday schedule (with rostered weekend on-call requirements).
