Summary
Lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations and supplier management activities that deliver value for money, ensuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and supporting Airservices' operational success. This is a 2-year fixed term contract, based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra, with hybrid working.

Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue fire fighting services at Australia's busiest airports.
The Role & The Team
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will partner with business stakeholders across Airservices to provide commercial expertise, procurement leadership and strategic sourcing support. Working across the full procurement lifecycle, you will lead complex sourcing activities, negotiate high-value contracts, manage supplier relationships and influence procurement decisions that deliver operational and financial outcomes while ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR).
About You
- Demonstrated experience leading complex sourcing, procurement and contract management activities.
- Proven ability to undertake commercial negotiations and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience applying the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR).
- Experience working within Commonwealth Government, Government-owned corporations or highly regulated procurement environments.
- Experience with SAP Ariba and procure-to-pay systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline highly regarded.
