About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities across our fleet of helicopters and aeroplanes. Reporting to the Maintenance Controller, this is a business-critical role with the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in maintenance planning, fleet availability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance planning and project management systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed plans to maximise aircraft availability and minimise downtime.
- Prepare comprehensive project work schedules including scope, hazards, tools, labour, materials, durations, and sequencing.
- Act as the central point for emergent scopes during major maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritise work based on aircraft criticality and operational demands.
- Apply Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Project Management to identify, manage and resolve planning bottlenecks.
About You
- Motivated self-learner able to develop practical, scalable and sustainable solutions to complex planning challenges.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite.
- Exposure in Aviation, or other regulated industry, is highly advantageous.
- A background in Theory of Constraints (TOC) or Project Management is desirable.
