The Opportunity
A high-impact role on a specialist commercial team delivering WSI's Airline Engagement Program, reporting to the Executive Manager - Airline Partnerships Commercial. The role partners with domestic and international passenger and cargo airlines to help WSI meet and exceed passenger and cargo forecast and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of airport passenger and freight forecasts as a critical input to WSI's Financial Planning process
- Lead preparation of economic modelling, demand forecasts and scenario analysis across aeronautical pricing
- Lead catchment analysis and route development, using market intelligence to inform airline route economics
- Support the Commercial and Strategy team on strategic analysis, conference preparation and CRM maintenance
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Business or Economics
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a strategic, consulting or financial analysis role, with working knowledge of the aviation industry
- Highly developed analytical and financial modelling skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
