V2 Helicopters is a growing and dynamic rotary aviation business based in Brisbane, delivering high-quality flight training and operational services. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team and oversee day-to-day operations.

This is a key leadership role within the organisation, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about aviation, safety, and operational excellence.


About the Role

The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the business, ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially sound operations across all areas including flight training, charter coordination, staff leadership, and client engagement.

A structured handover period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition prior to the current General Manager’s departure on 24 April.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of V2 Helicopters

  • Support the HOO in flight training and operational activities in line with CASA regulations

  • Manage and support staff across instructional, operational, and administrative functions

  • Drive business growth initiatives and maintain strong client relationships

  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism

  • Contribute to strategic planning and ongoing business development

Essential Requirements

  • Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter (CPL(H))

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • Demonstrated experience in a management or senior operational role

  • Excellent communication and decision-making ability

  • High level of professionalism and commitment to safety


Highly Desirable

  • Flight Instructor Rating (FIR)

  • Theory Instruction experience

  • Gas Turbine Endorsement

  • Experience on Bell 206 and/or Airbus AS350 (H125)

  • Previous experience within a flight training organisation
