Falcon 900B Captain

Sydney Based | International Operations

Falcon Air is seeking an experienced Falcon 900B Captain to join our flight operations team, operating under CASA Part 121 (non-scheduled air transport), with additional Part 91 flying as required.

Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to operate a long-range business jet on domestic and international missions throughout the Asia-Pacific region, under a well-established Australian AOC.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Flying Operations, the Falcon 900B Captain is responsible for the safe, compliant, and professional operation of the aircraft in accordance with:

  • CASA regulations (Part 121 & Part 91)

  • Falcon Air AOC, OM, SOPs and SMS

  • Manufacturer procedures and best practice

Operations include private, corporate, charter and special-mission flying, including international sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Pilot in Command on the Falcon 900B

  • Ensure full compliance with CASA, company, and manufacturer requirements

  • Conduct international operations including flight planning, fuel strategy and crew coordination

  • Maintain high standards of airmanship, CRM and professionalism

  • Participate in training, checking and safety activities as required

  • Represent Falcon Air professionally with clients, regulators and stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

  • ATPL

  • Current Class 1 Medical

  • Minimum 5,000 hours total fixed-wing time

  • Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on jet aircraft above 15,000 kg

  • Current Instrument Rating

  • ASIC

  • Unrestricted passport

  • Right to live and work in Australia

  • Ability to be Sydney-based

Desirable Experience

  • Dassault Falcon 900 Type Rating

  • 100+ hours PIC on Falcon 900

  • Training and checking experience

  • Flight Examiner rating

  • Air ambulance / special mission experience

  • International air transport experience under CASA Part 121

  • Valid US B1/B2 and C1/D visas

  • TSA approval
