United's Technical Operations team includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams who keep United's fleet ready to fly.
The Opportunity
Responsible for supervision and coordination of all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned Australian location, ensuring activities are performed safely and in compliance with company, regulatory and manufacturer procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee safety and security of aircraft and maintenance operations to ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide leadership and direction to the on-shift labour workforce to maximise productivity
- Build and reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of work rules and company policies
- Execute station performance goals aligned with divisional and company objectives
- Maintain awareness of operational, safety and human resource performance objectives
- Report status of operations and significant events to leadership
Essential Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FAA A&P Certificate
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations
- Must be legally authorised to work in Australia without sponsorship
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
