The Opportunity
As Trades Assistant, you'll join a multi-cultural team of approximately 9 colleagues performing aircraft component maintenance activities such as disassembling aircraft wheels, inspecting and greasing wheel bearings, and cleaning, paint stripping and plastic media blasting of aircraft wheels.
Essential Requirements
- Interest in mechanical activities; hands-on, can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a regulated maintenance workshop, adhering to OH&S and environmental requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend aircraft component technical publications
- Unconditional working rights in Australia (not a visa-sponsored role)
Benefits
- $55,000-$60,000 annual salary plus superannuation, paid fortnightly
- 38-hour week, Monday to Friday; on-the-job training provided
- PPE and safety equipment supplied
