About the Role

BDA is seeking a dynamic Central MRO Training Management Specialist to support training governance, courseware design and delivery, and training management system oversight at RAAF Base Amberley, QLD. This permanent full-time role ensures a capability-level approach to maintenance training system management, delivering a standardised and centralised system of training requirements and outcomes across the organisation.

Start Date: July 2026. Competitive salary + Super + Boeing Incentive Program (BIP). Relocation assistance available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the Central MRO training system and support implementation of a robust training management framework aligned with corporate and capability requirements
  • Support development and design of aviation maintenance training, including courseware and learning/training management plans
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs, skill gaps, and continuous improvement outcomes
  • Develop and implement MRO training schedules and ensure governance and compliance regarding schedule delivery
  • Evaluate effectiveness of MRO training outcomes through customer feedback and trend analysis
  • Collaborate across the business to align MRO training outcomes with operational needs and Boeing Enterprise requirements
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to MRO training facilitators
  • Communicate training metrics and updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship — must hold or be able to obtain an AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
  • Current C class driver's licence
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Desirable

  • Experience in training management system delivery in a complex aviation environment
  • Experience in instructional duties and facilitation practices
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance training development and/or delivery
  • Knowledge or experience in non-technical skills training development or facilitation

Security Clearance

Applicants must successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance, sponsored by BDA. This requires the ability to verify your background from birth to present. Further information is available at www.agsva.gov.au.
