About the Role
Aviation Australia is actively seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers interested in transitioning to an instructor role. As an instructor, you'll take the lead in delivering both theory and practical training within your trade stream, inspiring and supporting the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers.
No instructor experience? No problem. While previous training or mentoring experience is highly regarded, it's not essential — just bring your technical knowledge, growth mindset, and passion for aviation.
About You
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills
- EASA Part 66 recognised qualification highly regarded
- Current AME or LAME licence highly regarded, along with experience in a training or mentoring role
- Willingness to learn, grow and obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong organisational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for aviation
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the aviation industry preferred
- Legal right to work in Australia
