About The Role

Based at Sydney Airport, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy vehicles and ground support equipment, including trucks, tugs, loaders and other airside vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and operationally ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy vehicles and GSE.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with airside safety requirements.
• Liaise with the workshop team and customers to prioritise and complete jobs efficiently.

Essential Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining and repairing trucks and/or heavy mobile plant equipment.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and airside driving authorisation.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
