SFC Pilot Academy Tamworth is now accepting Expressions of Interest for Flight Instructors. Launched in October 2023, with a growing modern fleet of Piper Archer TXs and Piper Seminoles.
SFC Pilot Academy Tamworth is part of Schofields Flying Club Ltd. T/as Sydney Flight College, Sydney Flying Club and Sydney Flight Charter.
Based at our Tamworth Facility, as a line instructor you will report to the General Manager and the Head of Operations.
With intakes commencing in every quarter, we are seeking applications from highly motivated and professional dedicated flying instructors to start in February 2026.
Full-time positions and part-time positions available.
Renumeration is negotiable to commensurate with experience.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct of flight training within the scope of the Part 61 MOS and the SFC Syllabus
Conduct of Ground Theory training and briefings within the scope of the Part 61 MOS (Manual of Standards) and the SFC Syllabus
Provide simulator training
Maintaining Electronic Training Files and all admin tasks associated with flight instruction
Responsible for supervision and mentoring of junior instructors
All other projects and tasks as directed by management
Mandatory Qualifications
CPL or ATPL (A)
Grade 1, 2 or 3 Training Endorsements
A tenacious work ethic and high professional standard
A collaborative approach and can-do attitude
Desirable Qualifications
IR MEA 2D 3D (all aids)
A degree or diploma in aviation (all disciplines)
Cert IV in Training and Assessment
DG Certificate
Current WWCC
FIR Training Endorsement
MEA Training Endorsement
IR Training Endorsement
MCC
A pre-employment AOD test is required if successful. This position is only available to Australian or New Zealand citizens, or if you are a permanent resident of Australia.
