The Opportunity
Simutech Solutions is seeking Flight Simulator Technicians to join its growing team in Adelaide, directly maintaining and supporting Flight Simulation Training Devices for civil aviation and defence clients. No aviation or flight simulation background is required — strong internal training programs are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily readiness tasks including start-up, shutdown, and pre/post-flight testing
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues on a range of Flight Simulation Training Devices
- Perform corrective/unscheduled and preventative/scheduled maintenance
- Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians
- Some local and international travel to support clients
Essential Requirements
- Background in electronics technician work, aircraft maintenance (avionics), or a related field
- Genuine passion for aviation and electronics
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Desirable
- Cert IV Aeroskills Avionics or similar
- Direct simulator maintenance experience
- Electronics engineering degree or equivalent
