About the Role
We're currently seeking a permanent, full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) - Line to join our Mount Isa team. Enjoy a lifestyle-friendly roster with minimal call-outs and after-hours work, a structured handover with an experienced RFDS Engineer and ongoing support from our wider Engineering network and Maintenance Watch team. Based in Mount Isa, you'll support our Beechcraft King Air B200 and B300 fleet, working from one of Australia's newest aeromedical facilities, the Mount Isa Aeromedical Hub, co-located with LifeFlight.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled line maintenance in line with operational requirements
- Troubleshoot and rectify defects arising during daily operations
- Participate in the local on-call roster when required
- Provide ground support to crews and aircraft
- Support third-party maintenance requirements as required
- Maintain safe storage and management of parts, tools, and materials
- Inspect and rectify Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
Essential Requirements
- B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification
- Experience maintaining turboprop aircraft, relevant to RFDS fleet types
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Sound knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulations and compliance requirements
- Valid, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and ability to obtain an ASIC Card
