At QantasLink, safety, compliance and operational integrity are non‑negotiable. As part of QantasLink Engineering, you’ll contribute to maintaining the continued airworthiness of our fleet by applying disciplined process thinking, sound engineering judgement and strong analytical capability.

The Airworthiness Review Officer is responsible for delivering key airworthiness support and assurance activities within a CASA‑regulated environment. This includes conducting Airworthiness Reviews, reviewing maintenance and compliance data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives using the TRAX maintenance information system (or equivalent).

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, exercising attention to detail, critical thinking and professional judgement while working closely with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality stakeholders. Comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided, making this an ideal role for an experienced professional transitioning into aviation airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct airworthiness reviews and assurance activities in line with CASA requirements
  • Review, validate and analyse maintenance and compliance data
  • Identify gaps, anomalies or trends and support corrective actions
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within a regulated framework
  • Use TRAX or comparable systems to support reporting and analysis
  • Communicate findings clearly to engineering peers and leaders

You’ll bring

  • Background in engineering, maintenance, compliance or another highly regulated industry is highly regarded
  • Strong process discipline and appreciation for regulatory obligations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Analytical and problem‑solving capability, with confidence working independently
  • Ability to follow established procedures while identifying improvement opportunities
  • Experience with TRAX or comparable MIS (advantageous)Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate issue and context to peers and management.
