Corporate Air

History Corporate Air was launched in 1972 by local Canberra interests. At the time of commencement of services, the Company operated a flying school and a small air charter business. The flying school was successful, as was the air charter business. Many of the people who learnt to fly with us are now airline pilots with major airlines around the world. Success in the air charter business allowed measured growth and opportunities in the industry led to the purchase of the first Company turboprop aircraft in 1989. The Company now operates 18 turboprop aircraft including eleven Saab 340B+WTs. Corporate Air has not experienced the explosive growth that some aviation companies experience. The organisation has very deliberately taken a conservative, safe and strategic approach to business. As a result, it is one of the few organisations that has operated in the regional aviation market for more than 50 years. The Company has an unblemished safety record and, in line with CASA Regulations, holds an ‘Airline’ Air Operator’s Certificate (Domestic and International). Today Corporate Air is one of the largest 24/7 aviation service providers in eastern and southern Australia with bases in Brisbane, Sydney, Goulburn, Canberra and Melbourne. The Company is widely respected by customers and aviation industry regulators for its safe, reliable and cost effective delivery of products and services. Corporate Air has in place a ‘best practice’ strategy, providing professional services and a wide range of aircraft types that are best suited to client requirements. Specifically we provide a variety of air charter services tailored to meet the requirements of corporate, government, convention and sporting organisations. Amongst these services are corporate and business charter flights, fly-in fly-out (FIFO) services, overnight freight, airborne remote sensing services, search and rescue, and outback tour services. Corporate Air also provides aircraft ground handling services for airline, corporate, freight and itinerant aircraft, handling over 4,500 aircraft annually. The Company operates its own state-of-the-art CASA approved aircraft heavy maintenance facility at Goulburn, NSW. This facility maintains all of the Corporate Air fleet to the highest standards as well as providing aircraft maintenance services to a number of external clients. The Company possesses highly developed management systems together with well trained personnel fully supporting the principles of resilience and quality service delivery. Its people and systems make Corporate Air an organisation that can take a client requirement and build a solution that is safe, efficient and absolutely meets the client’s requirements from commencement of operations. It recognises the importance of providing a product that integrates high levels of safety and compliance with client requirements. The Company employs over 150 staff and is dedicated to providing safe, reliable operations with outstanding service for our customers. All managers have extensive regional aviation experience and the stability of Corporate Air makes it an employer of choice. Corporate Air is a private company that is independently audited. Corporate Air is frequently rated by aviation safety auditors as the leader in its market segment. The Future Safety is the key consideration for Corporate Air, including continually improving our industry leading safety management practices. The long-term objective of the Company is to continue to grow in a sustainable manner and to deliver beneficial outcomes for clients, staff, shareholders and suppliers. We intend to remain self-supporting and to provide an acceptable return on the capital invested. Corporate Air has the capability to bring new services online without significantly altering its Company structure or changing its operating systems. We welcome your visit to inspect any of our aircraft and facilities or to discuss your aviation needs.

Black Diamond Aviation

It started with a little boy folding paper planes. His spirit and the love for aviation allowed a dream to evolve, and today, we offer you Black Diamond Aviation! Founded by Matthew and Mache Collins - a husband and wife team - Black Diamond Aviation is privately owned aircraft charter company, operating out of Gove Airport in East Arnhemland. We commenced operations in 2011 with a fleet of just one aircraft. Skippers Aviation

Skippers Aviation commenced operation in 1990, operating a fleet of three Cessna Conquest turbo prop aircraft and one Cessna 402C from the Flight Centre facility at the Perth domestic airport. Over the years, Skippers have focused primarily on its core business of providing outstanding service and flexibility to the resource industry within Australia as well as Regulated Passenger Transport destinations; our key advantage is being equipped with modern aircraft especially suited to the rough airstrips and harsh conditions often found in remote locations. With this consistent and considerable growth, Skippers is the only Perth General Aviation Company which has addressed the issue of aging aircraft. In 1995, at a considerable price premium, we acquired a fleet of 3 brand new Metro23 turbo prop aircraft. This was part of Skippers’ commitment to offering leading technology to our passengers’ for optimal comfort and peace of mind. More new Metro 23s followed over the next 3 years with the fleet then totaling 5. In 1997/98, Skippers completed construction on their state of the art passenger terminal, engineering facility and operations centre at Perth Airport. During this time two De Havilland Dash-8 turbo prop aircraft were added to the fleet. Seating 36 passengers each, these new aircraft substantially increased Skippers’ capacity and added to the flexibility of an already versatile fleet. Also in that year, Skippers Aviation established a base in Broome, Western Australia in conjunction with an established mining company, WA Transport and Ansett Australia. An office complex, hangar and maintenance facility were built and Skippers still operate aircraft from this base on contract and ad-hoc charter basis. In 1999, our Air Operators Certificate was upgraded to allow for the provision of scheduled RPT (Regular Passenger Transport) services to the general public. Following the collapse of Ansett in 2001 and operating within a highly regulated passenger market, Skippers were able to take up routes which would otherwise have been abandoned and continue to connect remote Western Australian communities with Perth city. Skippers continues to operate quality air services to many of these destinations today, which include flights and services to Mt Magnet, Meekatharra, Leonora, Laverton and Wiluna. In 2008, the addition of more DeHavilland Dash 8-300, 50 passenger aircraft scaled our current fleet to 24 aircraft, in 2011 two DeHavilland Dash-8 300, 52 passenger aircraft were added to the fleet which now comprising 26 aircraft then in 2013 the company acquired two F100 – 108 seat aircraft which now gives the company a total capacity of 983 seats. Skippers have the capabilities and resources to provide a quality service at levels of safety and comfort comparable with other major airlines.

Polar Aviation

POLAR AVIATION (1981 - 2024) Polar Aviation began in 1981 when Clark Butson recognised a clear need in the Pilbara. Remote communities were being left behind - cut off by distance and lacking reliable transport options. Clark believed they deserved better: dependable access to essential services, safe travel, and the same opportunities as those in major cities. From its earliest flights, Polar was more than just a charter service. It became a vital connection - moving students, supporting mining operations, delivering freight, and even responding to emergencies. Operating its own turbine aircraft, building hangars in key locations, and investing in in-house training and navigation systems, Polar built a reputation for doing things properly and showing up where others wouldn’t. Key operations during this time: FIFO flights and critical supply runs for the mining industry Student and passenger charter services to remote communities Flight training for both recreational and commercial pilots Search and Rescue operations across Western Australia Aerial tours showcasing the Pilbara’s landscape Maintenance services for turbine and piston aircraft Full compliance with CAR 217 and proprietary navigation development POLAR AVIATION (2025 - Present) Now based on Australia’s East Coast, Polar Aviation continues to grow, but its commitment remains unchanged. The same principles that shaped the business in the Pilbara still guide it today: do things properly, invest in the right people, and operate to the highest standard. With expanded services in aircraft management and aviation consulting, Polar now supports private clients and aviation organisations looking to raise their operational game. And with the addition of international charter capabilities, the business has crossed a significant milestone - offering cross-border travel backed by decades of regional aviation experience. What Polar offers today: Full-service aircraft management for private and commercial clients Consulting for aviation operators, training organisations, and corporates International charter capability across Asia-Pacific and beyond A team defined by precision, discipline, and operational excellence
