Air Whanganui was established in 1987 by local families to meet the needs of Whanganui businesses following the withdrawal of services to Whanganui by the national carrier. The company began its commuter operation with a Piper Mojave flown over from Australia by one of the company’s founding directors. From those early beginnings the Company has grown into a first class 24/7 national charter service and a significant participant in the provision of air ambulance and medical transport services throughout New Zealand. We have three state of the art Beechcraft King Air turboprop aircraft, comprising of two B200’s and one C90 that are elegantly appointed and provisioned for executive and leisure charters. Based at Perth Airport, Network Aviation (Network) has been providing air charter services since 1998. In 2011, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, flying under the QantasLink brand. With its fleet of Airbus A320s, Airbus A319s and Fokker 100s, it caters for the resources industry operating regular airline services within Western Australia on behalf of Qantas for fly-in fly-out (FIFO) personnel, as well as corporate charters, while maintaining the highest standard of passenger comfort, safety and reliability.
