About the Role
Join one of Australia's largest pastoral businesses! An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and experienced Pilot at Davenport Downs. Located in the heart of the Channel Country of south-west Queensland, Davenport Downs and its outstation Springvale together form a 3.7 million acre aggregation capable of carrying up to 25,000 head of cattle.
We are looking for an experienced pilot to fly our Cessna 182, with the ability to undertake aerial surveying of properties and the flying of passengers between Paraway properties.
Essential Requirements
- 500 hours of flying per year (approx.)
- Appropriate endorsements and/or certification for the aircraft to be flown (Cessna 182)
- Current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Compliance with any other obligations imposed by the insurer of company aircraft
- Willingness to take on other station-related duties as required, such as general maintenance and gardening
- Right to work in Australia and a Q Fever vaccination (or willingness to obtain one)
