Technical Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Compares required parts price according to company policy
• Instructs Procurement staffs for effective and efficient procurement
• Procures parts from vendors approved by Technical Quality Manager
• Follows up with supplier until part arrival
• Liaises with suppliers and component repair agency for issues related to parts and materials.
• Reviews and certifies maintenance orders, invoices, warranty claims and other service charges and highlights any discrepancies.
• Ensures adequate corrective actions from quality audits.
• Manages claims monitoring related to leased/ purchased aircraft and other operated by Nok Air and take appropriate follow-up action on claim.
• Monitors utilization of credit remaining with supplier
• Prepares monthly MOST report for Head of Procurement
• Ensures that Key Performance Indicators are achieved
• Other tasks as assigned by Technical Quality Manager

Qualification

• Familiar with aircraft procurement process
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical procurement, engineering purchasing or industrial purchasing
• Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with procurement system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
