New Zealand Aircraft Engineering Ltd is a growing aircraft maintenance organisation, supporting one of the most active and rapidly expanding flight training environments in New Zealand.
As part of our continued expansion, we have recently established a new base in Whanganui, with significant growth planned. We are now seeking a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join the team and play a key role in building and supporting this operation.

The Role
- Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and continued airworthiness of our fleet, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
- You will also play an important role in supporting the growth and establishment of engineering operations at the Whanganui base.
Essential Requirements
You must:
- Hold a current CAA New Zealand Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
- Have Group 1 Aeroplane and Group 1 Powerplant ratings
- Have experience with both composite and metal aircraft
- Have a solid working knowledge of piston engines
Desirable Experience
- Experience on Tecnam aircraft and/or Rotax engines
- Familiarity with FlightCert maintenance tracking software (or willingness to learn)
