About the Role

As the AMO Team Manager, you will lead and support a team of LAMEs, AMEs and apprentices, helping them deliver against Network Aviation's business goals and objectives. This includes driving team performance and managing key employee lifecycle matters across development, engagement, conduct, attendance and wellbeing.

Reporting to the Line Maintenance Manager, you will lead, encourage and facilitate open communication with employees while supporting capability development and a positive team culture. The role will also see you contribute to key people activities across onboarding, return-to-work, recruitment and EA compliance, while partnering with stakeholders across operations, safety, training and planning to support continuous improvement and effective change across the AMO.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in a people leadership role within a large, frontline or industrialised environment
• Proven ability to coach and develop frontline teams, driving performance, capability and growth
• Strong experience managing employee lifecycle matters, including case management, performance, conduct, HR/IR, EA matters, safety and wellbeing
• Working knowledge of HR/IR policies, procedures and systems, with an understanding of WHS legislation, fitness for work processes and relevant compliance obligations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels and influence outcomes across the business
• Highly self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence key people programs and continuous improvement initiatives, operating autonomously

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline, or relevant equivalent experience
