The Opportunity
McDermott Aviation is seeking a Helicopter Refueller / Truck Driver to support aerial firefighting and aviation operations in Jandakot, working closely with pilots, engineers and operational personnel during the fire season. This is a casual seasonal position with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Refuel helicopters and support aircraft ground operations
- Operate fuel trucks in accordance with Dangerous Goods requirements
- Assist with loading and handling firefighting substances and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of refuelling equipment
- Travel to support seasonal firefighting operations when required
Essential Requirements
- Unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) driver licence
- Current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and Australian driver licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
