About the role
Work with a highly skilled training and operations team to develop and deliver training courses for the NZDF and other customers, with a focus on topics including airborne, sensor operation, communications, and crew resource management. Marops' training courses are designed, developed, and delivered as a blend of computer-based training, instructor led tutorials and advanced constructive simulation exercises. Apply your extensive background in sensor operation and military aviation while developing and delivering training solutions and training courses for years to come.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training courses for the NZDF and other customers
- Design training solutions using computer-based training, instructor led tutorials and advanced constructive simulation exercises
- Deliver training on airborne, sensor operation, communications, and crew resource management topics
About you
- Knowledge and experience in operating sensors (radars, EO cameras)
- Knowledge and experience in operating communications systems
- Preferably 5+ years' aviation and military experience, ideally in a multi-crew environment
- Understanding of non-technical skills and crew resource management
- Training course instruction in a military and/or aviation environment
- Training course development experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good attention to detail
- Must be a NZ citizen and have lived in NZ for at least 5 years
