The Opportunity

Join the UH-60M Black Hawk program as a Junior Design Engineer, working alongside experienced aerospace and airworthiness professionals on aircraft modifications, structural assessments and engineering investigations that help keep the Black Hawk fleet mission ready. Suited to engineers with 2-4 years' experience looking to deepen expertise in aircraft structures, mechanical systems and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support assessment of structural and mechanical repairs and modifications against local airworthiness requirements
• Develop structural and mechanical modifications, including design substantiation and certification activities
• Assist with technical investigations into aircraft structural and mechanical issues
• Perform structural, mechanical and airworthiness engineering activities in support of the UH-60M Black Hawk fleet
• Collaborate with Defence stakeholders and engineering specialists on safe, compliant design outcomes
• Contribute to technical documentation and engineering assessments for aircraft modifications

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for Australian Government Defence security clearance
