Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking Aircraft Structural Fitters to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.
Program Overview
The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What You'll Get To Do
- Be an integral part of the Apache capability
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with OHS policies and procedures
- Conduct aircraft structural repairs in support of routine and phase servicing requirements
- Incorporate as directed System Program Office (SPO) mandated/approved Modifications, Special Technical Instructions (STIs) and Deviations
- Ensure all personnel assigned to maintenance tasks are qualified and certified IAW 1 Avn Regt trade authorisation record
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are incorporated IAW approved processes and procedures
- Provide direction and instructions to assist in the development of technicians
- Contribute to improvements in the performance of the team (and the organisation generally) by proposing solutions to problems and more effective methods of work
Essential Requirements
- Holder of an iMMA (interim Military Maintenance Authority)
- Cert IV (or equivalent) qualified in Aircraft Structures with a minimum of two years current experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structural
- Apache Aircraft Familiarisation (CoA Provided)
- Composite Specialist Course (216309) or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures and documentation
- Ability to work in a team and interact successfully with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit and organisational goals
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
- Sound knowledge of aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance, modification and planning documentation
- Working at Heights qualification
