About the role

This is a hands-on role supporting the company's day-to-day accounting and HR activities, working closely with teams in Singapore and Jakarta. You will handle accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting support, while also coordinating crew employment documentation and acting as a point of contact for crew on contracts, onboarding, payroll, leave, and claims.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and journal entries
  • Prepare client invoices, record receipts, and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Check supplier invoices and supporting documents, and prepare payments for approval
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing, financial reports, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with client expense reports, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Review crew expense claims against company policies and prepare approved claims for payment
  • Prepare and coordinate crew employment contracts, offer letters, renewals, and amendments using approved templates and terms
  • Coordinate crew onboarding and offboarding, including HR forms, banking details, and employment records
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for crew on administrative matters, including contract documentation, payroll, leave, claims, and company policies

About you

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, with experience in invoicing, payment processing, and bank reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good written and spoken English, with confidence communicating directly with crew and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines and follow-ups
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential financial and employment information
  • Ability to work independently with guidance and collaborate with teams in Singapore and Jakarta
  • Preferably 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience supporting payroll, employee onboarding, or employment contract administration

  • Experience supporting payroll, employee onboarding, or employment contract administration.
  • Experience liaising with employees, crew, or other external stakeholders.
  • Experience in aviation or a service-based business is advantageous.
