About the Company

The Vertical Aviation Group encompasses two long-standing and well-regarded aviation businesses, Heliwest and Heli-Muster NT (HM Air). Heliwest is a leading provider of helicopter engineering, flight services and training to the Mining, Industrial, Government and Tourism sectors, and is a Bell CSF and CAR30 maintenance provider (with a roadmap to Part 145) with a well-equipped machine shop, components workshop, NDT facility and full painting capability. Heli-Muster NT / HM Air services the Pastoral, Tourism, Mining and Gas industries and is an Authorised Robinson Service Centre.

About the Role

Multiple positions are available for Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers B1.3/B1.4/B2, across a broad fleet of aircraft types with a variety of roster structures and base locations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory (touring options ex East Coast or New Zealand available; UK and USA licence holders also supported). Positions are available at Jandakot (20km south of Perth) and Newman Airport facilities in WA, and multiple opportunities in Katherine, NT. You will support a fleet of AS350, B206/206L, B427/429, B505, BO105/H135, BK117 (incl H145), R22/44 and Cabri G2 helicopters. There are also Stores/Sales/Logistics roles and Technical Records positions open, and leadership opportunities for senior LAMEs.

Essential Requirements

  • The right to live and work in Australia.
  • Valid Australian Driver's licence.
  • CASA recognised qualifications, or be able to readily transition to Australian qualifications.
  • Experience on at least one of the following types: AS350, Bell 206, BK117 (incl H145), BO105, H135, G2 or Robinson helicopters.
  • Demonstrable commitment to customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with experience on aircraft computer aided maintenance systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently, work as a team player, and work independently as required.
  • Current ASIC and Human Factors qualifications (company can assist with application or renewal).

Desirable

  • Bell 505, 407, 212, 412, 429 experience.
  • Experience using Aerotrack MRO (Aust) and Air Maestro.
  • Forklift ticket and First Aid.
