The Opportunity

Gate Gourmet's growing Brisbane culinary team is seeking skilled Chefs with bulk cooking or high-volume production experience, preparing and producing high-quality meals for airline customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items to approved specifications, recipes and production schedules
Ensure timely production and consistent quality across all dishes
Monitor ingredients and food items to minimise waste and spoilage
Supervise Catering Assistants and junior team members in your section
Ensure compliance with HACCP, sanitation and food safety standards

Essential Requirements

Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Experience in bulk cooking, high-volume kitchens or food manufacturing highly regarded
Ability to work 38 hours per week across a 7-day rotating roster
