LifeFlight is a world leader in aeromedical care, with a core purpose to save lives and serve the community. For more than forty-five years, we have operated LifeFlight - Queensland’s leading community helicopter rescue service delivering emergency response, critical medical care and hospital airlifts to seriously ill and injured people. The service has helped almost 90,000 people and provides Australians with the assurance emergency medical care is available 24/7, 365 days a year, no matter where you live. LifeFlight also operates an advanced fleet of fixed-wing Air Ambulance jets, to help patients in need of urgent medical care right throughout Australia and around the world. The rescue and retrieval service is bolstered by LifeFlight’s seamlessly coordinated suite of aviation and medical capabilities. LifeFlight’s Retrieval Medicine, Training Academy, Coordination Centre, Air Ambulance Repatriation and Engineering and Maintenance capabilities are integral to LifeFlight’s success in providing aeromedical services at home and internationally. The organisation is home to a globally recognised training academy that provides thousands of aviation and medical professionals with world-class training annually. LifeFlight was selected by Queensland’s Oil and Gas Industry as its only aeromedical provider overseeing the safety of its workers. As part of this partnership, the LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service operates aeromedical retrieval services from its bases in Toowoomba and Roma. More than 150 doctors are employed under LifeFlight's Retrieval Medicine division. Through a partnership with the Queensland Government, LifeFlight Critical Care Doctors operate on board majority of the aeromedical retrieval services within Queensland to provide critical care to patients across the state. LifeFlight employs more than 400 staff, all playing a critical role in the lifesaving work that LifeFlight performs each day.

CareFlight is an Australian aeromedical charity, established in 1986. CareFlight's mission is to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community by providing the highest standard of rapid response critical care. We use helicopters, aeroplanes and medi-jets to bring a hospital level of care to the critically ill and injured. Our aircrew, medical teams and coordinators work closely together to ensure that patients receive the best care as soon as possible. It's about bringing the right team to the right patient at the right time. CareFlight doctors and nurses are specially trained in pre-hospital and transport medicine. They care for severely injured patients who need emergency treatment at the scene of the incident. They also transport seriously ill patients who need to be moved between hospitals. CareFlight has a strong focus on education. We hold teaching accreditation with the critical care colleges of anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine. Over the years CareFlight has trained hundreds of critical care specialists in the unique and challenging environment of pre-hospital and transport medicine. Everything CareFlight has achieved over the years has been with the support of the community we serve. Based in Mackay, BMA CQ Rescue proudly serves the vast corners of Central and North Queensland. It operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and delivers critical aeromedical care and search and rescue support. We respond when there’s no time to spare and no other way to help. Often, we’re the only connection between someone in crisis and the urgent care they desperately require. For over 29 years, we’ve responded to life-threatening emergencies, natural disasters and completed urgent medical transfers. We’ve flown to remote cattle stations, isolated islands, highways and mine sites. To those waiting on the ground, the sound of our helicopter brings an overwhelming sense of relief: help is here.

Established in April 2003 Angel Flight Australia is a charity which coordinates non-emergency flights to assist country people to access specialist medical treatment that would otherwise be unavailable to them because of vast distance and high travel costs. All flights are free and assist passengers travelling to or from medical facilities almost anywhere in Australia. Angel Flight volunteer pilots are not medically trained and do not carry aero-medical staff or medical equipment so do not act as an alternative to the Royal Flying Doctor Service nor Air Ambulance.

Little Wings is a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting NSW, ACT and QLD regional families and their seriously ill children by providing free and safe transportation to the Children’s Hospitals in Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle and home again. Little Wings is a charity flight service owner-operator in the aviation industry that meets or exceeds all of the CASA safety regulations. Little Wings also operates a fleet of modern Hyundai vehicles for safe and comfortable return transfers from Bankstown, Archerfield and Cessnock airports or the metro airports to the Children's Hospitals. The Little Wings organisation relies upon its loyal core of volunteer pilots and drivers to deliver service excellence. Our vision is for every child regardless of geographical location to receive rapid and easy access to specialised medical services.
