The Opportunity
Financial Controller running the finance and accounting function for FTA Queensland at Wellcamp Airport, reporting to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and budgets/forecasts
- Oversee fortnightly payroll end-to-end, including payroll tax and Workcover
- Manage VET Student Loan compliance and reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliation
- Prepare quarterly Qantas KPI reporting and business plan updates
- Manage EOFY audit preparation and lead the finance team
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting major) or equivalent desirable
- ERP system experience desirable; strong Microsoft suite skills
