The Opportunity
As a full-time Catering Assembly Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations across the assembly and packing areas, ensuring all inflight meals and products are packed accurately, meet customer specifications and are delivered on time. Note: while advertised externally as Catering Assembly Supervisor, the official internal position title is Flight Assembly Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day assembly and packing operations
- Ensure all flights are packed accurately and delivered on time
- Monitor workflow, productivity and labour allocation
- Lead, coach and support team members to achieve targets
- Assist with rostering and tracking production timings
- Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and WHS standards
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory role within food production, manufacturing or high-volume operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP and compliance standards
- Experience with rostering and resource planning in a fast-paced environment
