About the Role

dnata has an exciting opportunity for an Advisor, Injury Management to join its Health, Safety & Environment team in Sydney or Brisbane. This national role plays a key part in supporting injured employees, strengthening early intervention and return-to-work outcomes, and partnering with operational leaders to drive effective injury management across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the workers compensation and injury management function across multiple sites, working closely with operational leaders, insurers, rehabilitation providers, and injured employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workers compensation and injury management cases end-to-end, including early intervention, return-to-work planning, and employee recovery support
  • Provide onsite injury triage, guidance, and timely escalation to ensure appropriate treatment pathways
  • Partner with leaders, insurers, medical practitioners, and rehabilitation providers to achieve positive outcomes
  • Provide expert advice on workers compensation, rehabilitation, and legislative compliance
  • Monitor claims performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve outcomes and reduce costs
  • Prepare reports and insights to support compliance and business decision-making
  • Drive injury prevention initiatives and promote a positive safety culture
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with legislative and company requirements
  • Support and develop the Injury Management team practices and coach leaders on effective return-to-work practices

Essential Requirements

  • Experience managing workers' compensation, injury management and RTW programs
  • RTW Coordinator accreditation or equivalent experience; clinical background highly regarded
  • Skilled in injury triage, early intervention and escalation
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation and WHS legislation
  • Proven case management, rehabilitation and RTW experience
  • Experience partnering with insurers, medical and rehabilitation providers
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
