Coastal Rotors is seeking safety-focused helicopter pilots to join our small, family-owned operation based on Horn Island in the Torres Strait. We are looking to fill multiple roles as our current stars head overseas to pursue their next adventures!
We operate across the Torres Strait and Cape York, providing essential charter and aerial work services.
These are full-time positions based on Horn Island, QLD
Requirements
- CASA Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter
- Current CASA Class 1 medical
- R44 and B206L endorsements
- 500+ total hours preferred
- 100 hours on type – B206L preferred
- Gas Turbine Engine qualification (GTE)
- Low-Level and Sling rating with relevant experience highly desirable
- ASIC
- HUET
- Dangerous Goods Awareness course
- Strong knowledge of Australian aviation legislation
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Manual driver’s licence
- Nil accident history
We are looking for someone with sound judgement, common sense and a strong commitment to safety. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of day-to-day operations, including flying, cleaning, aircraft and equipment upkeep, and general base duties. You should be comfortable working independently, supporting a small team and providing friendly, professional service to our clients.
