About the Role
Join the Airside Operations Planning team and play a key role in shaping the safety of Changi Airport's runways and taxiways. You'll work on initiatives that enhance airside safety, operational efficiency and capacity, while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the aviation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review policies, operating concepts and procedures to support safe and efficient airfield operations
- Drive initiatives focused on runway safety, foreign object debris (FOD) management and wildlife hazard management
- Partner airlines, air traffic controllers, ground handling agents, licensed drivers and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of airside safety
- Review runway safety recommendations and lead the implementation of suitable measures at Changi Airport
- Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure compliance with airfield operational and safety requirements
- Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve airfield capacity, efficiency and resilience
- Support major airfield development projects by providing operational insights and planning inputs
- Explore, trial and implement new technologies to enhance the detection and prevention of runway incursions, FOD and wildlife hazards
Essential Requirements
- Degree in any discipline
- Curious, analytical and motivated individuals who enjoy solving complex operational challenges
- Strong critical thinking, communication and writing skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Confident working with stakeholders across different functions and levels
- Prior experience or familiarity with airside operations would be an advantage
