About the Role

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Supply Chain Customer Support Specialist to join the cutting-edge Autonomous Air Vehicle Team to provide operational supply chain planning and warehouse operations support. This position plays an essential role in carrying out operational supply chain support to the flight test and sustainment team. This position is primarily based at RAAF Base Amberley, with periodic travel to the remote operations range required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing post-production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities; enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders
  • Process material returned from customers
  • Assist in analyzing supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities, capacity and performance
  • Process documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims

Essential Requirements

  • A sound understanding of Supply Chain methodology and processes
  • Previous experience in Integrated Logistics Fundamentals
  • Demonstrated experience of Aeronautical product requirements
  • Ability to identify, establish and promote supply process improvements
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet NV1 security clearance requirements and Defence security requirements
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
