About the Role
Based at RAAF Base Amberley, this role supports a world-class fleet of air combat and electronic attack aircraft, the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler, as part of the Sustainment Operation Engineering team supporting the Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ASI Program through the phases of the aircraft life cycle and master tasking plan
- Monitor and manage aircraft structural fatigue life to ensure safety and reliability
- Own assigned projects from inception to completion, resolving technical issues
- Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical from a nationally accredited program
- 7–12 years' experience in aircraft structural integrity or aircraft repairs
- Experience within a regulated aviation environment (DASR, CASA, FAA or EASA)
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (NV1)
