The Opportunity

BDA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join the P-8A Poseidon Through Life Support Program. In this role you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling activities associated with P-8A Poseidon Maintenance and Modification activities, and supporting the management of aircraft technical documentation, providing support to Base maintenance (Depot and Intermediate) and Modification lines at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling maintenance activities associated with the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, systems and components
• Compilation and issuing of Work Orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff, assisting with development and updates of aircraft maintenance schedules
• Analyse, plan, organize and control maintenance, modification and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment
• Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance and modification schedules
• Coordinate and monitor materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt and allocation

Essential Requirements

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling; aviation maintenance experience is essential
• Experience working with maintenance management systems (cMRO desirable)
• Experience in aircraft maintenance data management
• Well-developed prioritisation skills enabling management of changing priorities in an aviation MRO environment
• High standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word)

Security Clearance

You must be an Australian citizen and able to meet Defence security requirements, undergoing the vetting process for a Government security clearance (NV1) sponsored by BDA.
