The Opportunity
Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) combining on-the-job experience with a Diploma in Aeroskills – Mechanical delivered by Aviation Australia, supporting the AH-64E Apache and CH-47 Chinook programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, repair and install hydromechanical and airframe components
- Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair or modification
- Conduct inspections, servicing and post-maintenance testing
- Manage ground support equipment per technical documentation
Essential Requirements
- Keen interest in aircraft, aviation maintenance or engineering
- Year 12 (or equivalent) desirable, strong maths/physics results
- Able to pass MAML examinations to 75% level
- Australian citizenship for security clearance eligibility
