The Opportunity
Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) combining on-the-job experience with a Diploma in Aeroskills – Avionics delivered by Aviation Australia, maintaining aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Aircraft preparation for maintenance, repair and modification
- Inspections, special servicing and rectifications
- Flight-line handling and post-maintenance testing
- Management of ground support equipment per technical documentation
Essential Requirements
- Keen interest in aircraft, electronics or engineering
- Year 12 (or equivalent) desirable, strong maths/physics/IT results
- Able to pass MAML examinations to 75% level
- Australian citizenship for security clearance eligibility
