About the Role
The Hawk Lead-In Fighter program is hiring qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers across Avionics, Armament and Mechanical trades, based in Williamtown, NSW, to support ongoing sustainment and capability growth, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with authorised technical data and regulatory standards.
Trade Streams
- Mechanical: hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems and components
- Avionics: fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics and integrated aircraft systems
- Armament: maintenance of emergency escape, egress and aircraft weapon systems, plus loading and handling of aircraft stores
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills trade or equivalent
- Australian citizenship (mandatory)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and ITAR eligibility
