About the Role

Are you a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ready for a change of pace and scenery? Aviair is seeking skilled and motivated B1 LAMEs with relevant industry experience to join our Broome base, in the heart of the stunning Kimberley region. The base carries out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to our fleet.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with the aircraft’s approved maintenance data
  • Ensure all parts and materials are airworthy and appropriate for their application
  • Report all defects or faults identified during maintenance to the allocated Maintenance Coordinator
  • Ensure all certifications are made in accordance with Aviair’s approved systems of certification

To Be Successful

  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience as a LAME, preferably with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations
  • Hold a current CASA Part 66 Licence in Category B1 or B2 (PT6 engine type rating or experience preferred but not essential)
  • Experience working on aircraft within our fleet or similar
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a tight-knit team and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DAMP) and eligibility to obtain an ASIC
