Casual Freight Screening Officer at Launceston aviation facilities, screening cargo and performing security-related gatehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform security screenings of freight consignments using screening equipment
- Follow transportation security regulations and protocols
- Identify and respond to threats, prohibited items and suspicious behaviour
- Document and report security incidents
Essential Requirements
- Certificate II Transport Security Protection (Air Cargo Examination Officer), or ability to obtain
- TAS Security Licence
- ASIC (or ability to obtain) and Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate
- Available for early morning/late evening rotating roster across 7 days
