With over thirty years of flying tradition and experience behind us, we know what it takes to make the best airline pilots. AAPA is managed by its parent company Regional Express (Rex) which is the largest independent regional and domestic airline in Australia, recognised by experts all over the globe as the world’s best regional airline.
AAPA only trains pilots to commercial airlines standards and has a much more stringent and rigorous pedagogy compared to what is prevalent amongst pilot schools catering to General Aviation. AAPA has been approved by civil aviation regulatory bodies in China, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates to deliver ab-initio Integrated Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) and Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC).
AAPA has trained pilots for Air China, Hainan Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Okay Airways, Scoot, Qatar Airways, China Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Tigerair, Rex, Vietnam Airlines and Air Arabia. Besides training cadets for airlines, AAPA also accepts private candidates aspiring to be airline pilots.
AAPA has two large campuses at Wagga Wagga, NSW and Ballarat, VIC, and has a total combined capacity of over 400 cadets a year for its residential CPL programme.

Australian International Aviation College (AIAC) is a leading provider of flight training for both domestic and international students. Our success comes from designing courses that have our students, and their futures, firmly in mind. As a globally engaged organisation, we are committed to ensuring our flight instructors provide a positive learning experience and supportive environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Flight Training Adelaide
At Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) we provide world-class, customised aviation training solutions for the fixed wing and rotary wing industry. We are located at Parafield Airport, South Australia. The college started operations in 1982 and over the years has had a number of corporate owners, including Hawker de Havilland and BAE SYSTEMS. In 2005 the college was purchased by Hong Kong-based Young Brothers Aviation. Our training ethos is focused on producing future airline and helicopter captains, rather than simply training cadets to obtain a licence. To achieve this we have made, and continue to make, considerable infrastructure and asset investments to supply appropriate aircraft and simulators for training. We cater for sponsored cadets and self-funded students and offer a full range of services, including selection, ab initio and advanced training courses for airline and general aviation students. Our highly trained and committed staff ensure that the environment and content of our courses exceed the expectations of our customer airlines, helicopter operators and candidates. Whether you are an airline cadet or a general aviation student-we have the course for you. We hope the information on our website gives you a good understanding of what we offer.

Fast Aviation Lismore
FAST Aviation was established in 2016 in response to local and regional demand for professional aircraft charter and advanced pilot training. We have grown steadily and safely from a single Beechcraft Baron aircraft and one owner pilot/instructor, to four company-owned Beechcraft Barons (plus a Cessna 172!) and six full time pilots/instructors. We are fortunate to be able to attract quality and committed staff who have experience in many aspects of commercial aviation, from entry level general aviation to wide-body airline training & checking. Our pilots/flight instructors have collectively logged over 45,000 hours of flight time between them. We hold an Air Operators Certificate from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority for Part 135 air transport operations (previously known as charter operations), as well as a Part 141 Certificate for flight training. The company is proudly Northern Rivers based and locally owned.
